I got the pattern from this forum, under THE pattern-section, but adjusted the main yellow color a bit. But i guess THE size is THE same as yours (250x175 stitches)...

So, one week in and this is how far I've come:
Too bad, it was a week of holiday with a decent amount of time for stitching... next week I'm back at work and spending time with my daugther in the evenings before she goes to bed, so not much time left then... we'll see

here's what i have so far:
tonight I'll be doing the small castle. i know what you mean about not having enough time. i feel like i just want to stitch all day but work puts a damper on that.

i'm going to disney world with my wife and my parents. i figure i'll be too busy or too tired to work on it. i'm using either aida 22 or 28 (i can't remember, though it's probably 22). tonight after work i'm going to do as much as i can before going on away and posting an updated picture. keep up the good work on your's and i can't wait to come back and see how much progress you made.

thanks! i'm sure i'll have a great time. it looks like you were able to sneak in a few hours of sewing this week because you have a lot more done. isn't it exciting to see it really start to take shape instead of being just a field of cacti? i'm looking forward to seeing how much you get done this next week. keep it up, your stitching looks great!
