I have actually been working on this project for a while now, and am not far at all, but I thought I should at least share what little bit of my progress I have done on it!
Firstly, here's the map of the town of Onett from EarthBound, so you can see what I'm going for:
(I'm not doing the check-background, just the actual map part along with the "labels" for things like food, Hospital, etc.)
Here's just the outline and the "Onett" text box completed:
And here's where I'm at with it now (just a little bit of land done!):
Here's a close up of it (with a teeny bit more added):
The whole project is 19" by 17" just so you can get an idea on it's size.
It's going to take me forever and a day to do this, but I will be sure to post whenever I get more progress done!
