Really? It looks like you are using 2 or 3 strands on 18ct.Craftymaster90 wrote:First of all, thanks for the compliments!
And to TristaKatagata, I'm not entirely sure. It's most likey because I'm using all six strands on 11 (bleh!) count aida cloth, although, seeing as I've been working on this since November last year, some bulk areas of stitches have kind of softened/relaxed a bit to create that lovely effect (though I do try my best to keep them looking neat)

Re: Legendary Pokemon cross stitch WIP
I really wish I was. This was the third ever cross stitch piece I had started on (one was a tiny shoop da whoop, the other a mime. jr sprite). At this point, I was still unaware of the different aida count sizes, so I picked the cloth colour i liked bestdragonfoxmem wrote: Really? It looks like you are using 2 or 3 strands on 18ct.

Re: Legendary Pokemon cross stitch WIP
Eh, decided to update this once more before next month-
I tried to focus on the little details (note: not easy with my attention span!
)
Not too much, but it's still something, Had to make a present last week, and this week I'm stitching something for the NOV/DEC challenge.
At least Lugia's starting to look much more "realistic"

November Update!
Well, it has officially been a year since I started this project (started on Nov. 23rd 2009), so I finished another pokemon (finally!), and another update is in order!
First of all, the latest WIP shot -
Next, the latest finished pokemon, Zapdos, who only took almost a year to complete (or to be exact, 355 days!
) -
So, completed pokemon so far (in order of completion)-
Mew
Mewtwo
Celebi
Jirachi
Regice
Zapdos
My next aim is to complete Artincuno, as it is the only pokemon that was started in 2009 that has yet to have been finished.
