Update!
I tried to focus on Lugia this week, and here is the result:
Didn't anticipate Lugia's wing to be so big, and I also did more on one of Ho-oh's wings..... I think I'm gonna hate wings when this is finished

And another update!
Close up of Moltres -
it's not as much as I had hoped to do by now, but at least I only have a tiny bit of yellow to go to finish the flames on Moltres

Yet another update!
I've felt kind of uninspired lately whilst stitching this, mainly because of the whole 'hand picking every colour' thing. Last night I counted all my colours (and crossing them off a list as I went) and found that I have 182 different colours. 182 and I still can't find any that match some of the sprites! Even looking at Littlemojo's patterns, they didn't match the colours on the sprites I was looking for.
So, if anybody has any suggestions of colours for the HGSS legendary sprites (especially Groudon), please let me know

Yea, the colors of DMC are pretty limited to choose. I have crossed with the number of pokemon that do not match the color, so I picked that is closest match.

Finally finished another pokemon, Regice!
I had all of Regice's colours picked out a while ago, so finishing it up was pretty easy
Also decided to relax more on the colours, so stitching Groudon is in good progress now!

Looking good! I'm sure the Groudon will look fine even without exact colour matches =]

I have a question. How do you get your stitches so thick and neat? They look absolutely wonderful! Is it the number of threads you use??

First of all, thanks for the compliments!
And to TristaKatagata, I'm not entirely sure. It's most likey because I'm using all six strands on 11 (bleh!) count aida cloth, although, seeing as I've been working on this since November last year, some bulk areas of stitches have kind of softened/relaxed a bit to create that lovely effect (though I do try my best to keep them looking neat

)

That looks amazing. Can't wait to see it finished...!
Hooooooo-ey, all 6 strands? That's a lot of floss!

So you made this pattern yourself? Thats incredible! I often times have problems with a single sprite.... very impressive! Would you mind sharing it?
I really like how it looks with 6 strands, I can't imagine how much thread you are going to use to complete it all though!
