That is absolutely awesome. I love it. In reguard to the overworld thing, that's how I feel too, but considering that everything is on a black background it had to be a dungeon seen. You did a perfect job! That kinda thing is exactly what I pictured in my mind
I ordered a big 'ol sheet of black Aida that should be here tomorrow, I am so anxious to start on these!

I'll be away from my computer this weekend, but I'll try and get your 'A' done for you next then if you plan on doing this as one big sheet. (Something I don't actually recommend but obviously you can do what you like ^_~). Is the list you posted all the games you want? And do you prefer a Metroid pattern for M?

Here's your letter 'A' ^_^ I think it turned out alright. The sprites for the game were huge though so I had to remake them smaller to have any sort of design fit. Hope you like

After about 2 weeks I finished my very first cross stitch! And it was such a satisfying feeling to finish! It took alot longer than I expected, but I had ALOT of fun doing it and I am excited to do more. One letter down, 25 to go! It's still a little wrinkled, in need of an iron and a frame, but I was thrilled with the way it turned out.
To be honest, I think I had just as much fun working on the pattern with KG Chart as I did doing the actual stitching. I started with Laialda's original pattern ideas and added some of my own. I think I'll be doing Z next, but I haven't decided yet.

Very nice! I like it! ^_^ Totally get what you mean about having fun making the patterns. These self contained ones are fun to design
