Cross stitches by jazzhands

Hi! These are all of my completed game-related cross stitch projects so far:

And here is a recent pic of my massive WIP:

And... someday, when I actually finish that, I've got another enormous project -- Megaman -- waiting in the wings...

Wow! These all look so awesome, and as a huge Chrono Trigger fan myself, I'm loving all those characters! Can't wait to see more of the Metroid project

Wow... Just the size of that metroid WIP. It looks incredible, don't get me wrong, but I've taken a couple weeks and I'm no-where near finished with a bookmark. That would take me years... (which I'm sure reminds us all of the epic pokemon stitch.)

Aw, thanks, everybody! :D What a warm welcome!

Well.. with most of them (the Chrono Trigger characters, the Mario piece, and the giant Metroid one), I intend(ed) to frame them and hang them up in my house. Actually, I originally planned to do a lot more Chrono Trigger characters, frame them individually, and cover a small wall with them. Now I'm thinking I may put them in one large collage frame... but it's been a year or two since I finished those, and they still haven't been washed, ironed, or framed. :( The Bubble Bobble clock, however, is finished and lives in my craft room. And the MJ sprite from Moonwalker was stitched using waste canvas onto a purse I made as a gift.. and a year and a half later, it's still in use! It's a great compliment when someone uses a gift you gave them on a daily basis -- even more so when it was handmade! :nod

Thanks! I love playing with color, and when I saw that red fabric, I knew it would be perfect to really make the Lavos Spawn pop. :) I considered using another color, maybe blue, for the "good" characters -- but I was really liking the red, and it makes the collection seem more cohesive.

I do enjoy a challenge! And btw, I'm not a fast stitcher either, by any means. I started the Metroid project last August, and I'm almost 1/3 of the way done with it. So, most likely, it will take me about 2 years, start to finish. :( I know you're all probably wondering what the rest of it will look like, but I want to keep it a surprise.
