I tug my stitches too much and often get huge gaps in the holes. But it relaxes and turns out mostly okay. (At least that's what I keep telling myself!)Here's where I'm at today. I think I'm technically about halfway done, and it's only been about 17 days!

I agree. it looks awesome as it is right now. the whiteness near Elec man's background makes it look like light is being emitted from the lightning bolt.

And it's done! Yay!
I took pictures at the end of each day (except for the three I didn't have a camera available), so it took me 27 days total. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find an online .gif maker that handles more than 12 pictures. Well, I did (and it did 20), but it crashed after I tried to generate the file twice. So it doesn't count.
I'm going to edit the first post with the pattern and final pic.

Yeah!! You finished!! It looks great, gives me some motivation to just keep working to finish my zelda intro screen background, I would be so much futher if it wasn't the same color for ever and ever lol : )
