All right, last WIP picture until we're finished. As we can see, we've finished all the text, bricks, windows, everything except the table down there in the lower right corner (or would be the lower right corner if we could figure out how to get the picture to come out in the right orientation) plus Link and Error. Figure a couple of weeks should be all that it takes to finish up. It was about the end of January when I started this, so we'll be coming in at just about a year to do it, working about an hour a day, just about every day, though I did have, what, three breaks in there to work on other quick projects. So 10ish months actually spent working on it. But it'll be a while before I tackle another big one like this. I've got another 3 or 4 screenshots as potential projects, but those would likely take even longer because they have more stuff/less open space that doesn't need to be stitched. Instead, I've got a quickie project for Four Swords Adventure I'll likely do next. Have a pattern/threads set aside for an A Link to the Past project that's on the list. And one for Link's Awakening, but that'll require some French knots or something beyond just basic stitching. Which isn't a problem other than I'd have to look into/learn how to do that. I've also got a non-Zelda/non-gaming idea, but I'd have to come up with the pattern myself. So I might start messing with that, just getting some stuff on paper, just to get the ball rolling.
In semi-related news, AGDQ 2020 begins this Sunday (https://gamesdonequick.com/) Right now, they haven't set minimum bids for the prizes or what's available when, but that info should be updated soon. Because I work evenings, I'll miss many of the games I want to see live, but there's a lot of good games being run, so looking forward to catching what I can. Meanwhile, spread the word about the event. As I say, I'm not a speedrunner, can't contribute that way, but I can make a prize, I can let people know it's going on and help out that way.
