Vault Boy stitch

Post by ladycass »

So, I finally framed my vault boy cross stitch. Used PC stitch to design it from a photo. (I have since lost those files in a crash).

The frame was shiny aluminum, but fitting Fallout, I used salt ado hydrogen peroxide to rust it. I love the effect. It's hanging with my vault-tech lunchbox and bobbleheads now in my gaming area!

I absolutely love this! What a perfect frame for that stitch, and such a great idea to rust it up :)

Thanks! I have to give my husband some credit. I was contemplating plain black frames and he said "what about this". I was all, "OMG, Yes! That would be perfect! I wonder if we can make it look rusty?!" :) I would have left with the boring option if he hadn't thought of this one!

Awesome! The frame makes it even better - what a perfect way to finish it off :D
