ALTTP Logo - My first project

Post by ParlorKing »

Hi all,

This is my first project and first posting. I've been quietly stealing patterns from the forum for a little while now :P and thought I would join in with some pictures. Its the Zelda ALTTP logo on some cool hand dyed evenweave with Link flying by in the corner. I still need to figure out how to frame it but my biggest issue is deciding which of the many patterns I've stolen from you all to do next.

Looks awesome. Might have to steal the tiedye idea, gives it a cool skyscape feel. Great job!

That fabric is great for the pattern!

If I could ask, how did you go about dying the cloth? I ask because I've been wanting to do something from skies of Arcadia and pre dying a skyscape would save me SO many stitches.

Oh I didn't dye it myself. I ordered the fabric from:

http://www.polstitchesdesigns.co.uk/Fabrics.html

The one I used is called "Hurricane". Ive done some solid color dyes but I have no idea how to mix colors the way they do it. Its not cheap but i think its worth it.
