Thanks guys!!!
Three pics to share today...
First up, I worked on K9 on Saturday in honor of Tom Baker's birthday!
I also got some blackwork on Yoshi's Island!
And I also got a lot done on Pyraplex, especially today, thanks to a blizzard that moved through...they made the call to close campus yesterday morning around 8:30...that was before the public schools closed!

Re: Firehawke stitches video game things!
All of the blackwork is done on Yoshi's Island!!! (pictures showing the day to day work from Wednesday through today are on my blog).
I'm glad that I met my goal! Dealing with germs (not the flu, thankfully!!!) and some exhaustion (insomnia combined with the extra stress/lack of solid sleep that is mom coughing a lot again thanks to a sever case of bronchitis...her poor lungs had just gotten over bronchial pneumonia! )...came home early on Friday and have stayed in all weekend...taking tomorrow off, too...more rest and Vitamin C...and stay away from germs.
I even had a chance to work a bit on Camping Mama's big flower!

So much black! I love how the patterns look like that, but I lose track so quickly whenever I try to do large sections of one color. Great job! Can't wait to see the splashes of color added to it.
Your camping mama stitch looks amazing. Keep up the great work and stay healthy.

Thanks!!!
I'm debating if I should add in the 939 stitches on Yoshi first to more outlining is done...or if I should go ahead and add some bright colors to it...

Bright colors, since 939 is almost black in color.

Agreed, have experience of doing the 939 straight after the black and it's hard to distinguish sometimes. Put some colours in so that you have reference points to look at when you add the 939!blackberrybear wrote:Bright colors, since 939 is almost black in color.

Re: Firehawke stitches video game things!
Great minds think alike!
I picked up Yoshi yesterday and poof it now has color!
And then today, I picked up Camping Mama to work a little more on the big flower and poof big flower all bit done (a few outer stitches left to go)...and a bunch of black on the butterfly from page 1!
Monday was a sick day and I needed to stitch a little for distraction, so I did some work on K9!
And then in the evenings when I felt up to it (stamina was still a bit of an issue this last week...have to be mindful that I don't get that worn done again anytime soon!), I did some work on Pyraplex!
