I haven't tried yet but then again I haven't had a stitching session that long.. ever haha. I've knitted longer before and never had pain. I'm thinking it was mainly due to the stiff aida.
I was sick all day Friday so here is a progress shot on Valley of Bowser from then.

An update on all three projects is here. Progress has been slow as I haven't really been motivated to stitch much. Running more and getting ready to train for another half marathon and set some more PRs and hopefully drop some weight. So lately I've just been working, eating, running, and sleeping. I will make more time to stitch hopefully.
Spent a lot of the weekend just crafting and re-watching Harry Potter movies since it was brutally cold outside.
Valley of Bowser Progress Page 1 completed!
Megaman X Stage Select Screen Page 1 about 90% completed
Super Metroid Boss Statue .. really really slow progress because I decided to wanted to stitch the black stitches on the black fabric.. so I can only work on this when I have super lighting which means not working on this in my room.

Here are some updates.. I know I've been pretty much MIA but I'm currently in another training cycle (This time for the Brooklyn Half Marathon.. I'm a runner) so it's been hard to find time to cross stitch AND take pictures.
Valley of Bowser Progress -- Finally seeing his castle!
Super Metroid Boss Statue -- Yes I am stitching the black on black aida.. I just felt like it looked weird without it.
Megaman X Stage Select Screen -- Finished 1 page and am starting the 2nd one soon. Pic is kinda blurry on this one

Oh that looks great! Also I love the idea of using binder clips to keep your fabric rolled up. I'm about to start a map project (Rogueport from Paper Mario and the 1000 Year Door) so I think I'll be picking up a few clips myself!
