Home is where the Playstation is

Post by Ellentje »

I wanted to make a 'home is where the controller is' cross stitch as a birthday present. The guy it's for loves playstation, but I couldn't find a pattern for a controller that I liked. So I made one myself

I'm really happy with how it turned out, I think the playstation font looks really nice. The pattern was a bit bigger than I expected, so it's a bit late for his birthday, but I think he'll still like it. I hope I'll have time to frame it today, it's still drying now, because I washed it last night.

Let me know if you want the pattern.

Wow. Very impressed with the whole thing, especially the controller. You designed that yourself? Very good work.

Thanks for the compliments! I really designed it myself, it is my first own design

I didn't use the colors that are in the pattern, since I have a big bag of leftovers. I just pick something I think will look nice. I used DMC 645 as the main color, don't know about the rest, since the numbers where gone.

I got the font from this website:

Btw, it turns out my boyfriend framed it when I was gone and gave it to our friend, so I don't have a picture of it in a frame :( Boy am I happy I made a picture of it before I left :hmm:

Thank you for this great pattern, Ellentje! I made a few tiny changes and used different shades of gray. I stitched this for my son's girlfriend.
