Advance Wars Sampler

Post by Stitchmond »

I used a stencil font with a camo treatment to render a Sun Tzu quotation with Advance Wars sprites.

Stitched two over one on 14 count sand colored aida.

See you later, going to fire up some Advance Wars 2!

That looks great! I'm curious- did you freehand the camp or did you have some sort of pattern maker?

I grabbed a pixel art rendering of some camo and worked it into PC Stitch, chose my colors, then laid the outline of the letters over it, erased everything outside of the letters.

That is a really clever technique for the lettering.

Well done!
