Sprite Stitch Board!

So, I finally got around to trying out cross stitching. I've had kits that never got used, but this last week, I went out and got myself a piece of 16 count aida, needles, floss and a cheap hoop from the charity shop.

Tonight I did the outline of my Pikachu , and hopefully will finish coloring it tomorrow.

I accidentally stitched over two spaces when I came back with the dark yellow under the mouth. I was already on the line below before I realized it. Haha, screw it. I left it. I figured if that's my only mistake on my first piece, I'm doing well!

Update on the color.

All done! Trying to decide if I want to frame it or if I want to make it into a magnet.

Turned out great! You're a pretty quick stitcher too! When I did mine I ended up backstiching 'Pikachu - #25' underneath and framing it. Looks pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Well, Ally, I don't work currently, so I'm sure that helps. My husband encourages my craftiness and this is what I do, then I sell the things I make so it's kiiiind of a job, but a lot more fun.
