Sprite Stitch Board!

Hey Guys!

I realised a few days ago that it's been forever since I've posted here, although I've lurked a few times to see what's going on.
I figured I'd do a little post about what I've been working on over the last year, and show you some photos of the projects I've completed. Some are geeky/spritey and others are personal interest projects or gifts.

Abstract Design


My Uncle's name in Nautical flags.

Portal Cube - Filled it with rice so it was pretty heavy

I bought every single DMC standard thread ^_^ Some days of winding ensued!


Pin Cushion I made using a blackwork pattern.


Thread Scissor keeper fobs I made ^_^


Little religious hoop stitch I did for a friend for Christmas


Mini Dala horses ^_^


Big nail and thread batman symbol I did for my ex for christmas. (Really wish I'd kept it!!)

I ABSOLUTELY love your Batman peg board! Batman is my alltime favorite thing in the world!

These are fantastic I love the first abstract one and the horses, and your blackwork pincushion, and the butterfly hoop, and the companion cube.

Would you happen to have patterns you are willing to share for any of them?

Love everything here, all great work. Are those Dala horses from Cross Stitcher magazine? I remember them having something like it a few issues back!

Thank you so much! It was my first attempt at blackwork and I'm dying to have another go! The old mac computer that FunkyMonkey is doing has inspired me!

Thank you! The pattern for the abstract is from an amazing book I found on Amazon.

It's an amazing book, but it's only downfall is that whilst it give you the colour numbers, it doesn't provide a key on the pattern!

Sure! ^_^ The horses are from crossstitcher magazine, issue 268. The black work is also from crossstitcher, it's meant to be a sampler but I decided to cut it up and make it into a biscornu. It was a sample from a book that'd just come out on blackwork. :Blackwork - Made in france.

Thank you very much! I'll try my best to stay in contact with everyone here from now on! ^_^ Especially if I'm going to have a go at the pixel hobby stuff! ^_^
