So this is the latest additions of the Marios. This is number 9-11, and there's 13 in total, so I'm getting closer to the finish line.

It was a big change going from 3 colors per Mario to 8-12 colors per Mario. Takes a lot more time and effort. But I think they turn out quite nice.

And then I was finished. It's not a good picture, but I just had to share it with you.

In that lighting, it really looks like pixels, not stitches.

It's neatly done!

I love!! I was planning to do the other version of this with the blank and white floor and the statue at the end .... but i'm liking all the colour in this one. Does this version happen to exist in pattern form anywhere??

Mareslatts: No, not in one piece. I used the "classic" one for the first Marios, and the rest is screen shots from the game itself (SMW) put into KG-chart in separate pieces. I had like 12 pages with pattern pieces. I could post the individual pieces if you want?

OMG Kamfer, that would be amazing if you could! Thanks so much for offering! I'm still trying to learn my around PC Stitch and KG Chart...I haven't been all that successful so far!!

In my experience, every pattern I've made so far had to be changed a bit. The colors never seems quite right. But I'm learning. When I did this project, I just printed the pattern, took it to my local skein shop, tried to see what looked right in real life, and changed anything that didn't fell right after a few stitches. I didn't even know that there was different brands of skeins. Steep learning curve....
Some of the colors may look wrong in the KG pattern, but the colors are what I used, not what KG suggested. I've got to do a little fixing to do before they are all up to date on what I used, but I've got the grass parts ready.
