Zelda It's Dangerous to Go Alone!

Hello, spritestitch! I've been lurking for ages but *gulp* this is my first post. I've picked up so many wonderful tips and ideas from you all so I wanted to finally contribute
something.
This took me right around a week to complete. It would have taken a bit less but after completing the wizard I realized I wasn't happy with the skin color called for in the pattern so I had to take it all apart and redo it. I still need to iron and frame it but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out

Thanks for looking!

Thank you so much! It's not nearly as exciting as some of the amazing work I've seen here but it's a start

Nice job! I just did "Master Using It and You Can Have This" a few days ago and I was gonna post it soon, but I'll wait a little bit. Did you find the black fabric difficult to deal with? I had a tough time with it

I've found the black is easier to work with if I have a sheet of white paper in my lap below it and a lamp on so you can see the holes a bit better.

If you're having issues with black fabric, I would suggest getting one of those craft light you hook to your hoop/frame. I'm working with black fabric currently and I had the same issue so I got this:
http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/itemd ... m=MB-60513
Its only 15$ and it helped me tremendously. I don't have issues finding the holes in the fabric anymore.
The colors you chose for this project looks perfect escalante. You should really post your pattern with the updated colors!

Yeah, I had a lamp on the floor that helped to shine, but it was still a pain in the butt : P

Thank you so much! I would
love to see the "Master Using It" you did...maybe it would make me reconsider my next project LOL
Unfortunately I don't know how to convert KG patterns to PDF but I'll attach the sth file with the updated colors. In total I tweaked the skin colors, the wood for the sword and the green in his outfit. The skin coloring was way too orange-y and the sword was too maroon.
I think I'm going to get that light Lileya linked for my next project. This was my first time working on dark fabric and it was a bit tricky at times but I can see that light really helping.

Very nice project! Here's a PDF of your pattern!
