Hmmm, pace is definitely changing all the time for me... I'm now busy for a little over 2 years and not done soon. But thats mainly because it's not the only thing I do, I take on a lot of projects at the same time, changing between hobbies ;)

Thankfully my neatness seems consistent... It all pretty much looks the same.

Tonight I finished all the white, now just al little black and lightblue left before I can go on with the 25 colors with the least amount of stitches left.

For me, that project is this one, and all I want to do is rip half of it out... quite heartbreaking really!
I feel your pain. that was the same reason I restarted this project. you just gotta ask yourself "is this bit really going to bug me or as a whole will anyone even notice?
although, you could just say that your stitching skills evolved over time.
:tomato: (finally a use for this emoticon!)

Some parts will bug me, but some I'm sure will look fine once it's washed and ironed, but I'm up to the seventh page now and I don't particularly want to restart it so far in, but I'll definitely be picking some parts out and redoing them.

That's exactly how I am. At any given time, I have three or more projects going on. And that's just cross-stitching, lol

I ended up getting new cloth and restarting it yesterday. I apparently did half of the stitching in my sleep and when I got to the section it was so far off it wasn't worth trying     to salvage.

awww don't cry! look at it this way, it'll be even better this time because you learn from every stitch you make, so in a sense you are a better stitcher now than when you started. plus, it feels good when you get new cloth and start fresh.

i know its frustrating, having re started my pkmn stitch too (i'm on my 3rd go around with it). i learned that a water soluble pen is my best friend, and to not stitch if i'm too stressed or sleepy.

So after debating a while, I started this myself! ^_^ I started it August 18th, and I've started a tumblr account to share weekly progress as well as posting on Facebook to annoy family and friends. Here is where it stood as of Friday afternoon:

I have a lil more done, but I only take pics for the weekly update. I'm getting a little distracted in making a chart of my own for a side project.

I have no idea on the hours spent on this. I've never timed myself before; until I found this forum, I had no idea people would even do that. Most workdays, I'd spend 4-6 hours on it (but there have been a handful of lighter days/rest days) and on my two nights off from work, I can spend up to 12 hours a day on it. There was also a spell where I was off work for 9 days, and some days I hardly put it down besides for sleep. @.@ I have no life outside of work. :P Progress will probably slow down soon thanks to holidays, but I'm loving this obsession.

Its finally finished! I started this project all the way back in Dec 2009 (like on page 12 of this thread!) and now 4 years later its done. I'm actually a bit sad about it, feels like I've lost a friend. What am I going to do now when I watch TV???
(that isnt me btw, thats my hubby, Its too big to hold and take a photo of)
