Popping over for a motivational cheer! You are all awesome!

Keep up the excellent work!
Hello to you Karen! Good luck to you on this piece, I haven't attempted it myself, but it seems most people start from a corner. Where ever you do start be sure to measure, measure and measure again! Tedious, but worth it!!

Hey! I started this giant, giant project about a week ago, and I"m working on Dragonite right now. (I didn't do all of the pages in full before I got there, I guess I'm just a "blobby" sort of stitcher

) But I'm kind of worried about how the colors are going to match up on this poor Pokemon. The shading is a kind of greeny brown, the main skin is coppery, and now the highlights are a kind of daisy, buttery yellow, and right now to my eyes it's clashing horribly. If you've finished Dragonite, could you possibly give me reassurance that it's going to look all right in the end? Or if it didn't, did you swap out any colors? The colors i'm talking about are 733, 437, and 743.
ps i'll try to post pictures of my progress soon, when I figure out how to get them off of my phone!

So I realized why it looks so weird. The symbols for 444 and 437 are almost identical in the black and white version. So i mixed the two up. Dang it.

Oh dear, I haven't worked on this pattern in months. I think I might have to crack it out again soon!

You go for it! Just think if you aim for a little bit, it'll be such a boost when you've found you've achieved it and more!

I'm having a color crisis as well...on Mew it says to use 3340 and 842. They look very orange and brown, respectively,to me. I'm wondering if it's just because I'm starting out so there's nothing around them to balance them? I'd REALLY hate to have to rip everything out again

Still giant, but oh well.
I don't stitch as often as I'd like so I'm not that much farther in

I keep getting distracted by video games (curse you Resident Evil/Walking Dead/Call of Duty Black Ops 2) But I'll have my first page done soon, so yay
Anyway, good luck to everyone else starting, and I love everybodys pics they look great.
Oh, mystikdreamer the colors looked kind of orange and brown to at first, but I think it looks fine now.

I'm really glad you posted! I was scared to do anything more until I felt sure I wouldn't have to rip it out again. Thanks so much <3
Your progress picture is looking great, I can't wait to get even one Pokemon finished so I can feel accomplished xD

Hi guys. Do you use 2 threads at a time? Also how do you find an appropriate sized scroll frame. Thanks

I use a method that I came across on the forums here actually, folding one strand in half so I don't have to put a knot in my work. So -technically- I'm stitching with two threads.
And I picked my scroll frame up at Hobby Lobby for about $40 (though after using a coupon it was much less than that). I believe it extends to 28 or 32 inches, and can be made bigger or smaller. Some people don't like scroll frames, so it's completely up to you if you want one. There are threads already out there explaining the differences and people talking about their experiences. I'd check those out before investing in one
Hope that helped!
