Hi guys, I've been working on this since the 13th of November. It's been very slow progress as my Nan passed away 2 weeks ago, her funeral was held yesterday. It's been a very hard time, especially working full time for a very unsympathetic boss, but stitching has been very therapeutic, especially as my Nan used to love cross stitching so much. Anyway, here's my current progress.

So sorry to hear your Nan passed away. Hope you are ok.
But that's some good progress, keep it up!

Sorry to hear about your Nan... hope you are feeling a bit better.
After a lot of crocheting christmas-gift, I got to pick up my pokemon again... not as much as I hoped, my daughter turned 3 last week and now thinks sleeping is for babies...

So I haven't had many evenings to myself, but still got to do some stitching.

When you guys are making grids for this, are you using thread or some sort of fabric pen?

Looking at the pics, they are using water soluble ink pens that are used for patterns for sewing. I use one for my ivory/white aida when I am patterning out a large piece. It helps immensely in keep counts right.

I'll have to remember that when I start this pattern...eventually. Maybe this year, if I don't get too bogged down with other projects.

Where do you guys get these pens?

I've seen them at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's...I
might even have one, but I never do anything on such a grand scale that I need to use one.
