So my plan to start this after I'd finished a few gifts flew out the window and I couldn't resist starting this.
I only worked on it for a few hours last night while watching Harry Potter...so not much got done. lol.
Here's my update.

Sadly, mine has to be put aside. At work I got a nasty dog bite right on my hand, and it's very hard for me to hold a needle right now. D;

Thank you all for your concern and good wishes! I'm back at stitching!
BMH: I found one of the purple colors you used and the one I'm using - the same number. My thread is just a shade darker. So the two colors together look funny xD

It'll be different dye batches. They're not always the same and sometimes it gives an interesting effect!
I'll be honest...it's probably only you that would notice it, unless you point it out to everyone
