My update!

Ive just gone over the 400 hour mark working on this bad boy!! I can almost see the finish line (even though Ive still got around 20 colours left!) Cant wait to finish it!! If I ever do a cross stitch this big again I think Id have to opt for the Hyrule map or a Mario map! That way, I can at least do some travelling to and from uni!!

And another thing...I like the way my colours dont look like they should match up....will have to see how it turns out after the end result, and if they look too odd, well....Id have to unpick the offending colours and try again! :/

I have to say, I'm looking forward to receiving this piece from BMH. I'll be looking for it in the mail all week. xD In the meantime, I have my pokemon quilt patch to finish, which should be done today, and another stitch I started a while ago that I wanna finish this week if I'm lucky. =3 Then I can stitch 'em all! xD

More skeins are on their way to me!! Yay! The end is near! But I know I still won't finish before university, which is what I was hoping for, but it looks like is going to be a a weekend thing soon (if the workload isn't too heavy!) :/

I can't wait to finish it now!! Eeeeeee......

Here's my update, I'm a tad behind you guys...... but I thought I'd put it up cos I've not really posted a proper WIP for this yet.
I'm sticking with the dreaded 165 by the way. I get scared every time I use it, but I have to say it's not standing out at all, it all looks pretty good! It's really strange how it seems to work so well. Thanks to all you guys who reassured me that it would be okay

I just got my package from BMH.

I have to say, I'm excited to get working on it!
I think she stitches a different way than me, so it will be hard to stitch here way, but I'm excited to get started!
