I have been using a large standing frame, but more recently I've just been holding the fabric in the hand - I have a really sore shoulder at the minute and some areas on the frame are hard for me to get to. Personally I wouldn't use a hoop on something this large, cos I hate holding them for extended lengths of time, but that's just me lol! ^^

Yeah...I dont bother with hoops/frames either! Just holding the fabric is good enough! I wouldnt even know where to put the hoop either as I usually change pokemon so often (usually with the same colour) that it would just be a pain in the ass!

Ill be plonking my pic on here soon!! Pwomise!! Just dont wanna use my proper camera so the pic isnt huge on here again!! *prays camera phone can handle epic-ness* Lol!!

Wow well done! Awesome work :D

I'd recommend getting a Photobucket or something like that and linking to your pictures through that, or just resizing them before you upload :D

hey guys! thanks for all your encouragement :D i dun think i'm going very fast at all!
i take breaks from it all the time. how much i stitch depends on how much time i have for tv! (probably too much since i've managed to stitch a fair bit!)
I want to have it done by the end of this year so we'll see... sad thing is its taken me sooo long and i'm only just over half way not to mention all the small confetti stitches to put in at the end!

i like to stitch with a portable square frame coz i sit on the couch with my dogs. my little doggie is my frame stand- i just rest the frame on her back and stitch away! its a pretty awesome set up coz my hands stay busy and my lap stays warm. the down side is you have to pick dog fur out of the finished product...

loving everybody else's progress! really motivates me to keep going! you guys all rock. this is by far my fav project ever and also my fav thread!

I'm doing it on 16ct aida so for me it will be around 16" x 28" (I think, I've never been good at doing numbers in my head :D).
That's supposing I ever finish it, lol ^^

I've been following this project since before I joined the forums, but I have to admit, whenever I see it I have two reactions. One - Awe, because it's totally awesome and ambitious, Two - Giggles, because outside of doing the black outlines, I can't figure out your rhyme or reason for the various stages of completion of the others.

But I am impressed, and heartily encourage you to finish.
