It's looking great! And I like how you are griding it...may have to try that myself!

Re: Epic Pokemon pattern WIP!!
Hi all
Posted in the pattern thread before I realised there was a WIP thread, so I'll drop here in as well.
Unlike, well, everyone else I suppose, I'm not cross-stitching this (not a stitcher). I'm knitting it. Possibly the first person to attempt that? Progress will be significantly quicker than a stitched project since things knit up so much faster, but it will also be... very very big. Blanket sized big. 46" x 79" big.
Got charts 1 & 2 completed, started chart #6 (vaguely working diagonally) but on pause for a couple days whilst I wait for a yarn delivery. Didn't have anything in my stash to approximate the dusky pink/purple of Weezing.
Colours are eyeballed as "it's close enough who cares". Less colours over-all since some are similar enough they can be combined and I think knitting with 104 colours would definitely send me loopy!
Used 24 colours in chart 1, and 33 in chart 2. Current size 13 x 18" approx.

I'm willing to bet your knitting is better than my stitching!
Does anyone know if a latch hook rug version of this has been attempted? I used to make those in my early teens, but grew bored of them. I think it'd make a cool rug, though, for people with more patience than I.
Project currently on pause as my knitting this has brought in a commission for a Rapidash portrait approximately the same size as one of the charts so I'll be working on that for a couple of days before I begin the next one

Good luck working on the Rapidash!
Just curious...what size needles and what kind of yarn are you using?
Keep up the great work!
