Mr Drippy is finished and he turned out very tidy. Kept me busy for many a lunchtime and lecture

I recently discovered Hyperbolic Crochet and the crochet coral reef project ( http://crochetcoralreef.org/ ), and I had to give it a try, so I made a sea slug. He will probably be the first of many, as I want to try making real species next

Progress has been made on my Fire Pokemon cross stitch, but as this is an at-home piece, it has been losing out to homework lately. I eyeballed most of the colours for it, so I keep changing my mind on them. KG had trouble coming up with enough shades of orange and yellow, so I'm ignoring it and have a mix of DMC and Sullivans.

Really like the Sea Slug! I like the Blue to White on the frilled part! The other Amigurumi on your blog look awesome too! I really want to learn how to Crochet but I dont understand the patterns and I have trouble learning from youtube videos. I need to find someone who knows how to do it so I can make cool little things as well!

I love the hyperbolic crochet that I've seen. Your sea slug is so cool. I can't wait to see what else you decide to make.

Update time!

Due to thesis (now done thank god) crafting has been relegated to the sidelines for a while

This little guy is a WIP of Loki from Over the Bifrost, although with the hair its 50/50 whether he gets a helmet and sceptre or a guitar and amp

And more work on my Fire Pokemon. This one is coming along as I have a bunch of lectures to listen to before an exam this weekend. I'm pretty happy with the colours so far.

Does anyone have any tips for taking a photo of light stitching on a dark background? My camera seems incapable of not overexposing the light colours.

I seem to have hit a wall with crochet for the moment. I have several half finished amigurumi in pieces, a half done scarf and no motivation to finish them at the moment.

I have made progress on the pokemon fire types:

I whipped up a little set of magnets of paintings by Piet Mondrian. Pattern is on my blog (as its not really gaming related) but I can post it here as well if people want
