FINISHED - Beauty and the Beast Stained Glass

Post by Nightshade »

Hi All,

I haven't posted in years, but I've been hovering around.

I started this around May 2016 and stitched this on and off for a long while (most of the off time was purchasing a house, painting, falling down the stairs and stuffing up both of my legs). I had major ankle surgery at the end of April (over 12 months after falling down the stairs), and I was bedridden for 2 weeks, which means I managed to finish this :). I am so happy with how amazing it turned out.

Thanks to whoever made the pattern on here!

Sorry for the bad quality photo.

It looks gorgeous and such great coverage. Thank you for sharing with us. I remember seeing this scene from a B&B stained glass fabric print and liking it enough to actually take a picture in case I ever wanted to track it down and buy it.

PS. The photobucket image fix extension broke the image here for me before I turned it off... just in case anyone else is having problems.

and the pattern I believe is here : viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15874

It looks wonderful!!! Glad that you had it to work on while you were recovering...hoping that you are all nice a healed up now...and no more falling!

Thanks everyone :)

Still recovering, but at least it’s healing fast :)

That’s fabric is incredible!

I’ve started stitching the other one, but I’ve put it down while I work on Epic Pokémon Gen 2 :)

That looks fantastic :) The colours are so bright and cheerful! Will you frame it?
