The Challenge seems to be working great for you. Must be a wonderful motivator.

It really is!!!
But, I do have to admit...I'm really glad that I can work on a block as well...because I'm starting to feel a little bit of burnout starting to creep in So, while I do want to do a big push on it tomorrow (it's World Stitching Day, I've taken the afternoon off...AND it's the Day 40 checking), I am also wanting to do a big push on the block this weekend, too.

Haven't checked the forums in awhile. Just now saw this. Burnout happens and that's why I have so many WIPs right now. When I burned out on my Mario piece, I just quit stitching for months. Now, I just switch to something simpler or I'm more motivated to work on. It can be tedious and a grind (but then again, most of us are gamers used to the grind lol), but it's a hobby, not a job or a chore and I don't want it to feel like one.Firehawke wrote:It really is!!!

Having multiple WIPs is a HUGE help for burnout! Sadly, I'm forcing myself to focus on just my challenge project and my block. BUT...I'm getting close to finishing the block, and I have 2 new projects/challenges starting next month, so that will keep busy!
