*hugs* Hope you're ok.
Hellfire I hope you're alright too. Sounds like you need to either confront or drop that so-called friend. Hugs to you too!

I think my friend is committing suicide tonight. I got a series of weird goodbye texts and I don't know what to do. My husband went to the police station here, but there's not much we can do when we're 1500 miles away

When he finally answered the phone, he sounded drunk and I'm hoping that in the morning I'll be able to text him and he'll just be hungover.
Ugh.

Thanks yessamaca and blackmageheart. After thinking about it as if it was someone else who had said it feather than a friend. I realised I get rid of them from my life. As I don't think I'll be able to forgive her, I think it's the end of our friendship.

I hope you can get hold of him in the morning. Must be an awful thing to worry about when your so far away and unable to get there.

Having just lost a friend in that way, I truly hope everything turns out ok. Always here if you need us!

HE MESSAGED ME! He was suuuuuuuper drunk, I guess. I ended up talking to him for a while today just to make sure everything is okay. I am so relieved.

ok, so my FML is sort of funny but not at the same time... I am currently having to explain the natural things of growing up to my 12 yr old son... His dad seems to not want to do this despite my trying to get him to, so I guess I have to do it....

I am NOT looking forward to that with my kids. My friend just had to do this with her son and halfway through she must have panicked because she called me halfway through.
My dog got off her leash tonight. Scratch that. She was still on her leash. She BROKE the leash in half when she saw another dog. Do you know how hard it is for a chubby girl to catch a German Shepherd who doesn't listen? I got in a good workout and scared my neighbor in the process (she was standing on top of her car when I caught my dog). Good thing my big dummy is friendly...

My FML is pretty similar to rockinwithrammstein's. We're trying to sell our house, and as such, the real estate agent has been taking prospective buyers through. Yesterday, he arrived early when my mum and I were still trying to wrangle our three dogs (beagles) into the car. Anyway, the real estate guy left the front door WIDE open, and two of the three dogs (the third is old, blind and deaf) bolted through the front door and just took off. The guy was an utter a**hole about it; he just started laughing and said, "Was that my fault?"
One dog is only a year old, and when he gets out and starts running, you don't have a prayer. Luckily, the people who live across the road were out and managed to help us catch him fairly quick, but the other one, who is nearly eleven, took off as though he'd never been outside before in his life! He loped across the roads like he was having the time of his life! He wouldn't even come back for lollies or biscuits! Anyway, all was well with the dogs in the end; I walked back home, clutching the younger dog because I do not trust him on a leash (this dog jumps fences and recently worked out how to open doors, and knows if he lies down and waits for you to pull on his harness that he can wriggle out of it). I was out of breath from chasing them, and in my pajamas with my hair a mess, and the person who was coming through our house, who stood there watching us from her fancy-pants Mercedes, actually turned out to be my former English teacher from school. Sucked.

Someone tell me I'm not the only weenie who has been crying over Robin Williams.
