Can just about see this so sory for spelling mistakes.

Needless to say my eye hasb't got any better. And the ointment is gross. Can hardly do anything at all and my motivation is down so havent been eating either. Had to do a medical assessment for my benefits on friday again, seems I had suppressed the reason for my relapse last year until it hit me. So that and my eye I am really upset abd I have been thinking about cutting a lot these last couple of days...

Aww Bex, I hope that eye clears up soon. As for your bad feelings, speak to someone about them before you act on them, ok? And please go see your GP about both these things. <3

I had the immense pleasure of spending four hours in hospital today. I've been having sciatica pains for a few days and it's been getting worse every day. Today it was so bad I felt I had to get it seen to. So after much fun and games in the ambulance and the hospital, I found out that I have sprained the muscles in my lower back and the swelling is putting a lot of pressure on the sciatic nerve which is causing the pain. I'm at home now, and the painkillers they gave me are starting to help a bit. I'm hoping this is a short term thing as I can barely walk or move without crippling pain. You'd think yay, more game/stitching time! But I have to keep getting up (despite the agony that causes) and moving. And I only just recovered from my abdominal strain! FML

I have a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning. But I just called my advisor and for the first time ever it's like she doesn't care or even listened to me. I HAVE to go see her tomorrow straight after the doctors. What the * * * * *

There's nothing like stitching in only black for several hours, only to realize you doubled a row and have to pull out around 400 stitches... FML

Sorta did that with the background of my current project. I was just stitching along watching t.v. and not paying attention since it was just fill in work. When I was about 10-15 rows down I looked at it and realized I'd pushed my needle in halfway between the second square instead of hitting the hole of the first square. I put it up for a couple of days and silently fumed until I felt I had the energy to undo all the stitching to fix it. :banghead:

After pulling out all of those stitches (which i carefully removed with a thread puller) I realized that i somehow cut the fabric... right in the middle of my 16" x 12" project... Luckily there were two fibers still attached so i did a very loose stitch and used some clear glue on the back so it wouldn't move. At least the person this is for doesn't know anything about cross stitch so hopefully it will go unnoticed. But still, last time i take stitches out with a thread puller :banghead:

What do you guys think? It looks super messy to me but I'm a perfectionist. Hopefully filling in the white areas will make it look better...

It'll probably be fine. Just be really careful when you wash it not to overly stress that area. Washing it will help the threads to lay down better so it will probably look even less obvious to you when you do that.

Sooo...I installed the update for the current version of Android onto my Note 2 the other day. I also wanted to install a game from the Google store and I had to unmount my SD card to do so (Google did some update thingy to make SD cards more secure and/or basically obsolete because the way they write to themselves held a high security/virus risk). Anyway...I'd been having to unmount my SD card to install certain games for a few months now (the update was done then...Samsung is freaking slow and is just now getting the update out for their Note 2's) depending on if the game company updated their product to reflect this SD card update.

Anyway...after I installed the game and had played it for a bit I went back and mounted it back again and didn't think anything of it. So, today I took my phone into the kitchen and turned on the music player so I could listen to music while I did dishes and the only music it was bringing up was one album (a 16 gig SD card that is basically full of music) and I thought it was a little weird so I went back into the settings and it said my card was still unmounted. So I hit the mount SD card option again and went back into the music player and now it was showing no music at all! In fact, the phone is not reading my SD card whatsoever (keeps saying it's either blank or damaged). When I put it in my computer it says it's damaged and asks me if I want to scan and fix the errors, ect. When I tell it yes it works for awhile and brings up some of the folders that were on it, including my music folder but my phone still refuses to acknowledge there is anything on the card so I've gone from having about 32gigs of space on my phone to 8gigs in two days. :banghead:

The one shining light is that I'm due for an upgrade in July so I will be able to get a better one with high internal storage and, hopefully, no SD card. :read:

AT&T replaced my phone in Jan because the camera lens got dust in it and the new one refuses to accept my SD card so I just gave up. I stream music from Google Play instead if I have wifi...

My FML story isn't that bad. I found a cross stitch pattern that my sister loved but then she asked if I could replace the cool blues with greens (specifically Kelly Green = DMC 702!). Which meant I not only had to replace the greens but all of the purples, plums and then most of the pinks because they didn't match the new greens. About a 85% color replacement. I'm hoping the colors I choose will work (messed around in photoshop to test) but I get to find out the hard way: by stitching it.

I'm also using 36 count (18 count) fabric for the first time so here's hoping I don't blow it.
