no_need - best thing you can do is not worry about not sleeping (take it from me, I'm an expert in insomnia - I get about 2 - 3 hours sleep a night) as the worry will only disturb your sleep.

A long time friend of mine, someone who was part of our little group of kids growing up together, ended his own life yesterday. I'm so shocked and sad. I have known quite a few young men who have taken their own life in that way, but this one's hit us all really hard. He had a lot of problems and I guess he couldn't see a way out. :(

Oh BMH, I am so sorry for your loss. When you hear about something like this happening, it really puts everything in perspective.

Sorry for your loss, BMH - my thoughts are with you.

Minor gripe in the great scheme of things, but my wisdom teeth have suddenly up and decided to cause me all sorts of pain. Very, very annoying.

Bleah, my two year old had that a few months ago and it took forever to get rid of.

It's gross, painful and making everything difficult! Plus I hate putting ointment on my eye. :cray:

But then I'd take this over that Vertigo anytime, seriously.

THAT I can definitely agree with. We have a fluorescent light in our laundry room and it flickers. Every time I go in there I get nauseated and vertigo. I would change the bulb, but it's on a really high ceiling and I'm five feet tall--even with a chair I can't reach it. So I have to wait for my husband to come home and change it for me.

My gripe of the day: I have seen in the last four days-- A 4-inch centipede in my son's room, a cockroach the size of my big toe, 3 scorpions (little, found one with my foot), 2 wind scorpions (a type of spider), a massive black widow, and my daughter was woken up in the worst way possible by a wasp in her crib.

Oh, those wind scorpions? One was the size of the palm of my hand. They're doing construction in the big empty field near my house, so all the creepy crawlies are coming here. I called pest control and they sprayed, so here's to hoping I don't see anything else. I didn't have a problem until they started messing with that field. I had never even seen a scorpion before and I've lived in the desert for 2 and a half years!

I don't do bugs. :green

Ooh, something similar happened to me a couple of months ago in my bathroom! I literally barfed every time I went in there with the light on so...I went in with a torch at night - much better! I got a new bulb, had to stand on the bath to fit it, but works like a dream now and zero flicker! Hope you get it changed soon.

I can look at them under a glass or from far away, but I WILL NOT TOUCH THEM AT ALL NEVER EVER NO NO NO
