That's awful, LPB! Pass on my condolences - let him know people he's never met are wincing right along with him.

ow! my sister has ovarian cysts which are really painful so I'm guessing this is similar but worse. I didn't even know you could get one one there! Both of you hang in there.rockinwithrammstein wrote:RMDC wrote:That's awful, LPB! Pass on my condolences - let him know people he's never met are wincing right along with him.

Thank you all for your kind messages...The surgery turned out well, but it was more complicated than expected. He'll probably stay at the hospital until Monday or Tuesday. He suffers a lot. He'll have to keep an urethral catheter and a drainage bag for THREE weeks... that demoralized him the most, because it's painful and degrading
we're not finished with that yet... plus, he was supposed to witness his colleague and friend's wedding next Saturday... will he be able to be at the ceremony... that's the question !

Typical. I have an interview on friday and i'm ill.
Dizziness, nausea, heat waves and excessive sweating. Perfect!

It's called anxiety but I have the cure! My mother always told me to convince myself that I could freak out only after the stressful event. It actually works, I recall vomiting AFTER several exams in university. It's all about discipline.QueenBex wrote:Typical. I have an interview on friday and i'm ill.

Update: been to the doctors and I have a virus which is affecting my inner ear! Woo.
He's given me some meds to help with the dizziness and told me to basically just let it sort itself out.
Now in the process of rearranging my interview, so i'm just waiting anxiously for a call and seeing if i 'm gonna throw up or not...

Well, at least you know what it is, and you know that however apprehensive you might be about the interview when you go in for Take 2, it won't feel as bad as it would if you went in with this virus!
