Well, it wasn't really her fault, even though they made it look that way. Did the same sort of thing with a guy a few months ago. They were looking for a way to get rid of him, and then were able to twist something to give them a reason. The way they treated her I'm glad she isn't there anymore, but it's definitely not going to be good for our bank account.

That's such dirty pool. If you need to axe someone for cost reasons, that's one thing, but to damage their resume and reputation in the process is unconscionable.

I was "fired" once... and laid off once. Both sucked but I got past them and you and your wife will too Philpepe!
Sometimes they are a blessing in disguise... They were for me (both times) but I was still bummed for a while. Just step back and look at it as a chance to stry something new (and hopefully fun!)

Well, that's one reason I know that they twisted it because even though they "fired" her, they gave her the option to resign so that they would still give her a good recommendation.

Kuja, she's been "fired" before as well, and oddly enough it was by this exact same company. Looking at it now, it may not have been the greatest idea for her to go back, but we originally saw it as a great opportunity since we really needed the money, and it started off great, but just like last time, it slowly got worse and worse, and it was stressing her out more than it should have. So even though we may struggle a bit until she finds something else, we actually have been looking at it as a blessing. When one door closes, another will open!

That sucks so much that it makes me angry, Phil! That employers can still treat people so badly is an outrage. Or I think so, anyway!
Much love to you and MrsPhilpepe and I hope that things are better for you very soon! <3

A sort of positive update now, MY BROTHER IS MOVING OUT YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. :yahoo:
Of course, I still got all the crap he's leaving behind to deal with, like repaying that money etc, but I hope this is the beginning of an improvement in my personal situation. I also want to add an extra special message to say thanks for all the unexpected gifts and support I've had from various members of this community, you've all been wonderful and kind and I can't thank you all enough. :BM

BMH, that's amazing news! I'm so happy for you :yahoo: It sucks that you still have to deal with issues that you may not have had without him around, but I hope this can be a nice fresh start for you.
