Back to venting... inner ear infections! I feel like utter crap! I can barely stand I'm so dizzy, and I've only been able to eat once since Saturday!

So...today I found out that the help I get with my rent (from the local government) will no longer be given to me. They say its because of my brother having his own business (which doesn't look like much of a business at the minute) so they've withdrawn the help. They've also announced that I need to repay around £700, which is money I just don't have. And I have to pay the full rent for my house, which is £90 a week. This on top of household bills is going to be bad. I'm appealing but it looks like I won't be having a Christmas this year. Which is ok, I'm a bit of a grinch anyway!

Ouch! I think someone needs some coal in his stocking (and to have that stocking applied directly to the posterior at speed)!

This is complete junk. It makes me really angry for a lot of reasons. I'll be PMing you shortly.

Just fyi to everyone, the reason why I've kind of disappeared for a couple weeks is that I broke my foot and everything has been a huge mess.

And now as of this morning my wife is unemployed. Good thing we had already pretty much bought our Christmas gifts for each other, and now I guess we have a good excuse for not buying gifts for anyone else!

Absolutely! I love Christmas, and I love getting stuff, but I would much rather spend time with family and friends than just have people buy me crap I won't use anyway. Also, if I'm giving gifts, I would much rather give something handmade than to just go out and buy something just so I can "give a gift."
