I have to say xbox because Sony lost our Playstation business when the PS2 came out. We saved up our money to buy one of the first gens a couple of months after they came out. Probably about 3 months after we got it the DVD player part stopped reading DVDs. A few months after that it stopped reading PS2 games. Then it completely wiped both of our memory cards (FF7 save was at Sephiroth, FF8 was halfway through, FF9 halfway through, etc). So, basically within 6 months of buying a brand new console it was a paperweight and Sony told us to eff off unless we wanted to pay almost the sticker price to have it fixed. We haven't bought another Playstation since then although I really miss my FF games. lol
