How did you do the cookie monster heads?

Awe....I forgot I was going to make hamburger cupcakes for my husbands birthday. Oh well, maybe for Father's Day since it's right around the corner.

All that stuff looks so amazing (except for the M&M's. Boo peanut allergy).

There is a tutorial on youtube, but pretty much colour buttercream that cookie monster blue, colour shreded coconut the same colour, pipe buttercream onto cupcake and smooth into a ball with palm of hand, then dip in coconut and re-smooth any weird parts. The i just used white chocolate melts and milk choc chips for the eyes...then they tricky part. you need to cut out a wedge in the frosting and part of the cupcake and then put a cookie in gap and viola......COOKIE MONSTER!!!

Thanks. Those are normal m&ms not peanut ones but yeah, they make contain traces of nuts. I understand though. I'm lactose intolerant so I dont even get to eat/taste test the goodies I make.

They were so fun to make My bf wanted to eat them all but they were for a bake off at work
ohhhh if you're doing it for fathers day...theres a template attached for the baskets, tissue paper to line the little baskets in and the fries packets.

Those cookie monsters are on my must do list, now. Also, once my friend posts the pick I will share my bday cake pic. A good friend of my did a pile of my favorite books with alternating layers of mocha spice and vanilla cake. It was A-MAH-ZING.

So....Mario Kart Cake anyone?

I made this for my cousins 9th birthday for Saturday.
This cake is chocolate mud then chocolate ganache, then fudge brownie layer, then chcolate ganache, then chocolate mud. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! (for once i tasted it)

I think the kids loved the power ups more than anything, they were the first things to disappear.
