Tea. Definately tea. I like the smell of coffee, but not really the taste.

Ditto - I love tea, especially with milk and sugar, but coffee tastes too bitter to me. (Also, from North America).

Does the poll give you a way to correlate each voter's drink choice and location?

I'm Australian, and I voted for coffee because I like the smell, but not so much the taste (although I do love a hot chocolate!). Sometimes I go for green tea, though!

I'm Australian and I'm a crazy tea drinker. Skim milk, no sugar if you please.

I'm about to have my 4th cup for today.

I have to confess that I hate black tea. Herbals and green teas are nice but they are "light weight" and don't get me going the same way a cuppa joe does.

I mean, most of your early history was based around England's tea trading. I'm surprised it didn't have a lasting impression...
Yes but we also dumped a bunch of it into a certain harbor as a protest of independence... maybe this encouraged the switch to coffee which is a new world product? ;)

Looks like it's a good thing I put Australia up (lucky u guys being a country and a continent), I didn't realize that we had that many active members from places other than Europe and the US XD

I am definitely a tea person, more so since visiting Canada on a regular basis. I buy looseleaf and brew my tea myself now. I LOVE it.

I should also note - to add to my total and complete nerdliness - that I did a ton of tea research while running an Avatar: The Last Airbender tabletop roleplaying game, and now I know way too much about tea. I am a crazy tea nerd. Still prefer good ol' Mississippi sweet tea, though. :P

I actually hate both tea and coffee. I don't like the smell of coffee so I've never tried it and tea just tastes like boiled water to me so I've never really seen the point.

I don't seem to drink much caffeine. I'm all about the sugar. If I need something warm, I'm good with apple cider or hot chocolate! :)
