But also, I think rares only show up at the top of the hour so as soon as the clock strikes 0 that's when you start clicking (maybe at 59). You aren't guaranteed to see any rares but I've seen quite a few. Haven't gotten any that way though.

I've seen rares show up occasionally outside the hourly drops; obviously it doesn't happen as often, but there's usually less competition to grab them. A speedy net connection is very helpful too! If there are specific eggs anyone is looking for, let me know and I'll try to get them for you if I see them.

I did start a couple of breeding projects to keep myself entertained while waiting for rare eggs to show up (not that breeding doesn't come with its own set of frustrations, like a mixed-type pair constantly producing eggs of the wrong type )

Does anyone have a Caveborn Autumn Seasonal egg/hatchie they'd part with? If not, if you catch a CB one, I'd put you on the top of the list to get the next gold or Silver dragon that I breed.
