I've had terrible luck breeding any rare dragons lately, including magma/thunder/ice, but I'll keep trying
Anyone know if the breeding success rates change over time, or is it just totally random?
I'm still looking for a seasonal, if anyone manages to breed another ...

There is a ratio thingy to do with the rares and breeding them.
If I remember correctly (I could be wrong here), the likelyhood of breeding a rare, like an elemental or a gold/silver, etc, is related to how clogged the Abandoned cave is.
The more clogged up with boring common eggs = the less chance of getting a rare, is a rough guide.
I think there are a few more factors, like dumb luck
but that's an easy one for me to remember.

So I evidently killed like 4 eggs when I quit for a month... LOL whoops... luckily they were common and not anything to cry over. So I have to wait for them to clear out before I can do much.
I'm still not going to be on a lot (it is getting really damn hot here) but if I will keep trying to breed some of my rares/uncommons.
So far I have a Pillow
and a Royal Blue
up... none of the others worked out. PM me if you want them.
