I was thinking more like a crafty way to record for myself. Like a stitched map maybe? The problem is that I would need a pre-printed map to stitch on since stitching the whole thing would take too long.

I'm fairly confident that you can find fabric that has Tolkein's maps printed on it. Then you could just stitch in the path you end up taking?

I put my name down, too! I got a Fitbit last month, and I start at uni next week. The campus is huge and my classes are annoyingly spread out, so lots of walking is basically guaranteed! Should be fun

2 Miles down! That's about how much I walk a day just from my walk to/from work and my running around at the office. I do work-out routines daily but I might start taking walks instead to get there faster! Once it warms up anyway since NYC is currently an icebox . . .
