Aaah, kewl. When I'm not so busy I'll have to check it out. I feel like with going to the gym an hour out of my day now it seems like I never have time anymore. I wake up around noon, go to gym at 4:30-5:00, get home, make dinner and eat and then I just want to relax, watch some t.v. and (these days) working on the cross stitch for my husband's donation thingy. Went to the memorial for my roommate's brother tonight instead of the gym and will be going to our comic con here with the kiddo Sat and Sun all day so no gym then either. At least there, I'll be walking around a little bit at least. LOL!Kareesh wrote: The Academy is the only part you have to pay for. The forums and all the information he posts on the blog are free. They have quite a few workouts listed on the blog that you can do for free (such as the beginner's body weight workout). Mainly the Academy acts as a personal-trainer-esqe thingie. I myself don't do that part. I'm just active over in the forums.
I need to just wrangle in my night owlness and become a day person, I guess, since I can't seem to get anything done anymore. lol
Thank you! I've lost another pound and I am very proud of myself! A few more pounds and I'll be the lightest I've been in a decade (still way overweight but it's the little things!) and about the weight I was when I found out I had psuedo-tumor cerebri which is basically something that is common in overweight females between the ages of 18-35ish. Basically I had killer headaches and slightly blurry vision which caused me to figure I needed a new glasses prescription and the eye doctor found that my blood vessels were swollen and popping. From what I could understand (you know doctors and not speaking plainly lol) the spinal fluid is circulated down your spine and up around your skull and then is drained out and replaced with new stuff and mine wasn't draining properly so pressure was building up causing the headaches and vessel popping/blurry vision. The symptoms are the same as a brain tumor (thus the name "false tumor") and it is something that can make you go blind. They don't know why it happens and the only cure is losing weight. Obviously, I have not been very good with the losing weight part.... Luckily, it hasn't bothered me since then *fingers crossed*. I had to have a spinal tap and an mri to get a diagnosis and that tap was no fun at all! It hurt and he hit a nerve that made me jerk my leg and then chastised me for moving. -.-MeiTow wrote:Along with eating pretty healthy lunches/somewhat healthy dinners and counting calories I've lost 6 1/2 pounds from last Monday to today.
Wow! Keep up the good work!
I was pretty sure that if I actually started getting some decent exercise regularly the pounds would come off. I was always one of those kids where the grown-ups would ask me where I put all the food I was eating because I was never fat. I didn't start gaining weight until I went to college and didn't have to walk everywhere all the time.
