Yep, I love the couch to 5K podcasts that I posted earlier: http://www.c25k.com/podcasts.htm

Oh, I did. And then after the incident I wrote about in the FML thread, I went back to binge eating. A bit of a setback, but I am trying to control it and settle down again.

On a more positive note, a building in my village that used to be a sports centre recently re-opened with all brand new gym equipment! Much more convenient than travelling to town, and cheaper too! I'm going to take a look and see what sort of gear they have. :)

Wow. I just completely fell off the wagon yesterday, and today's not looking much better.

Gym class was full when I got there, and didn't have my swimsuit so didn't exercise. Then I'd forgotten I'd said I'd go have lunch out with my fellow PhDs. Myself and himself were supposed to go get burritos for dinner, but when we got there they were closed for a function and by then I was wretchedly hungry and disappointed and couldn't say no when he suggested buying Mr Kiplings. =(

Now my gym class is full again and while I brought my swimsuit apparently I also needed a skullcap, which I don't have, so I still can't exercise.

This was supposed to be the week that everything got back on track =(

I haven't been able to even think about exercise or eating well in the past couple of weeks because of prepping for a move that just keeps getting put off. And I'm worried that after we move I wont get much exercise in - we're moving from a somewhat rural area back to an urban center. I'm not quite an agoraphobe, but I do hate going into places where there are lots of people, and that pretty much means gyms in the city are out for me. :(

So, I've just dropped a fairly hefty sum of money on various things so I can try the C25K. Anyone else tried/trying it? I'd very much like someone to compare results with :nod

I will be re-attempting it after my work trip to Paris in March. I figure there's no point starting it until after then, as that week throws everything out of sync!
Currently attempting: Epic Pokemon Cross Stitch Gen I, M'aiq the Liar
Knitting - Fusion in Paris

Don't judge me - blogging about allsorts https://dontjudgemebut.wordpress.com/

I'd be interested to see how you both fare with that, best of luck! :)

As for me...ehhhhhh. I've been poorly with a stomach illness for about a week and then I managed to get a throat infection too. Stupid immune system is stupid! But I went for a little tour around the gym near where I live and it looks great. Really cheap membership too, as it's a community-driven thing. The cardio and strength equipment is all brand new stuff. I just have to shake off these bugs and get going!

Thanks BMH! I think I'll need all the good luck I can get - I've never willingly run a day in my life! I hope you feel better soon, too :)

I finally started losing a little bit. down .4 pounds last week. Of course I'm starting this week by getting whatever sickness my husband had, so I haven't exercised so far this week. Ugh...
