Hubby got me Final Fantasy X for our anniversary. He was going to get me the HD version with X-2, but our PS3 isn't working right now. Once I beat X, then he's going to buy me X-2 (I'm notorious for not finishing games. lol)

I'm also playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, so if anyone's on there, lemme know. :)

You're not the only one! I often get really close to the end but then just can't go on. It's like if I finish it then it's OVER and I don't want it to be over so I just never finish it. Problem solved! Some games I'll play at the same time as my husband and then if he finishes first then I don't want to anymore.

This is a game I'm really wanting to get. I've played the Layton games a tiny bit and only played the current demo for Phoenix but it was a lot of fun. How did you like the game?

I've just been working through my massive back log of older games I have had sitting around in my collection forever. Which means I'm pretty far into Jet Force Gemini at the moment and still stuck on the last level of Super Mario Land 2.

It is awesome!!! Really puzzling, great story with so many twists and turns! Lovely exploration. You can be an achievement hunter and seek out all the puzzles or just do the story ones to advance. I haven't really played phoenix wright before so it was interesting to see what it was like, nice and straightforward but challenging, a lot of talking on those bits but you get used to it and it made me want to try out the phoenix wright games! Love love love professor Layton!!! The cut scenes are amazing, be sure to have the sound on for those bits!!!

Definitely recommend!!!

Finally got ZombiU from Gamefly! I love the atmosphere this game creates. I highly recommend playing it with headphones as there is a lot of noise (i.e. Zombie shuffling) to be picked up. This game is fairly difficult. The restart after dying can be quite frustrating and depending on where and how you die, can create quite the task in getting your gear back! But that all just ads to the spooky atmsophere as you are actually concerned with your health/life lost. There are fast travel points that one can open up which dont disappear after death. This offers some respite but still stinks if your recently lost survivor was far away and had a good bit of gear saved up.

Just finished Yoshi's New Island. Very good game, highly recommended! If I have a complaint, it's that the final boss battle is perhaps laughably simple - plenty of the other boss and miniboss battles outranked it. Minor gripe, though; the rest of the game is excellent and eminently replayable (especially if I want to collect all the *' collectibles! :( ).

Also, SMASH BROS DEMO OMG OM GMGOM GOMGOGM OGM

Wanna know how people are finding it if they play it?

I went out and bought Fantasy Life yesterday. Great first impressions, the world is quite expansive, and although I've not played it much yet there seems like a massive scope for variety and longevity.

I started as a magician, but am looking forward to changing my life soonish. Think I might go with miner...
