What games are you playing now, and why?

I've been playing Pokemon a lot lately, both Pokemon White and Pokemon LeafGreen. Also, just bought Final Fantasy X and X-2 Remastered and have spent a little time with that. Too much life happening lately.

Just got Pokémon Battle Trozei...been switching back and forth between that, Zelda, and the apps on my phone when I haven't been crafting in the evenings or on the weekends.

I also got the FFX/X-2 Remaster and am playing it when I get the chance. Unfortunately that's not very often - but it's Easter holidays soon (and an 8 hour flight to Florida) so plenty of time then!

Does anyone else play card games? I'm totally loving Netrunner these days. Its become my default "not-on-computer" game to play.

I enjoy all sorts of games but anything not electronic I can never seem to get anyone to play with me so I don't get to play card/board games very often. Actually...I take that back, my daughter tries to get us to play the different board games we have but it never ends up happening. lol Mainly because my husband never wants to play them (he's very competitive and I tend to win so he hates it lol) and usually those types of games are no fun with just two people.

An Internet friend of mine mentioned playing Munchkin this weekend with some of her friends and it made me want to play it again. I just wish we had more people to play it with (and, thusly, more reason to pick up boosters for it lol). I've also wishlisted a couple of games they've played on TableTop on Amazon so we can pick them up at some point (Gloom and one I can't remember off the top of my head).

If we're talking normal old card games I love to play Euchre but, again, never enough people to play that one. Kiddo always wants to play Uno and even with that being one of my husband's favorite games, we can never get him to play. lol

Played Munchkin a few weeks ago with some friends, such an awesome game! I really really enjoyed it, even though I didn't have a clue what was going on to start with. I'm hoping that we'll play again sometime soonish.

MeiTow - I know how tricky it is with a competitive person in the house. Played Countdown with the bf this weekend, who had never lost a game and was really proud. Sadly he lost, but is claiming that it's because he didn't feel very well! I've told him I'm ready for a rematch whenever, but he's not keen on that idea for some reason!

I have a massive card/board games collection at home - not played Munchkin, but a few of my favourites include Dominion, Seasons, Kingdom Builder and Ticket to Ride.

At the end of May a friend and I attend the annual UK Games Expo, which is awesome. Lots of opportunities to play games and the trade section is massive!

I would love to play more card/board games, but sadly I don't really have anyone to play with. My daughter is only 2, so she's out, and my husband doesn't like card or board games. My family (mom, dad, and brother) love them, but since my brother lives 2ish hours away and works 2 jobs, we don't really get together much to play games. I did play Zombie Munchkin with some friends, and yeah. It was pretty fun, but I was soooo confused at first. I'd never played a Munchkin game before that. I would play it again, though.

Munchkin is soooo confusing but I still love it! Haven't played in ages because my current group of friends can't get past the confused stage and don't like it. My favourites are Articulate, Settlers of Catan and the Discworld: Ankh-Morpork game (but my boyfriend always wins that one :p )
