Picked up Dynasty Warriors 8 for the 360 yesterday haha. I've been a fan of this button-mashing series since my husband introduced me back when we were dating (starting with DW3; I would do terrible things to have that save data back T^T). I know the button-mashing genre doesn't get a lot of love and the DW series is pretty much the same game remade but it's fun to just kill a bunch of peons sometimes. And there are some pretty, pretty boys. ;b

Any other fans out there?

I love the series as well but I just haven't played it since about 3. LOL! I remember enjoying it on the Playstation but haven't picked one up since then (with the exception of getting the game boy version for my DS Lite and I played that for quite a bit as well). I should look into getting one again as I had a lot of fun playing it back in the day!

I went to Gamestop yesterday to trade in some games for store credit. I wasn't expecting to get $34!!! Between that and the credit I already had, I was able to pick up the new Zelda game for 3DS (I can never remember what it's called!). Spent about an hour playing it last night and can't wait until I can play more tonight!
Tomorrow will be filled with Zoo Tycoon!

Finished Pikmin 3. Good game but I feel it was to short and not nearly as challenging as the previous two. I was able to fully complete the game in a little over 6hrs. Next up is hopefully the South Park game.

I've been watching a Let's Play of the new South Park game on youtube. It's been really good so far, funny and a little gross too!

My boyfriend completed this the other day. I thought it looked pretty good. It was just like watching an episode of the show! haha

Started South Park TSOT and I have to say it is pretty good. Kinda a Dirty Paper Mario. If you enjoy the show, you will equally enjoy the game. Pretty much every reference to the show is included somehow. There is definately a bunch of stuttering, especially when moving fast, but it doesnt hurt the game to much.

That reminds me! I still have to play this as well. Gotta add it to my Gamefly Queue. How do you like it so far??

Oh I love it! It speaks to me on multiple levels. I love the rpg aspect of it. I love the collection aspect of it. Using stickers to fight is pretty amazing, imo. It's just a neat idea. I only played a smidgen of one other paper mario game via an emulator and I don't remember that being a part of that game but I do remember that I really liked it and that is why I chose to get Paper Mario when Best Buy didn't have SMB 2. I found it challenging enough that I do keep a walkthrough handy just in case but not so challenging that I feel I can't take it to bed with me for fear of missing something because my comp with the guide isn't handy. In fact, I spent two hours at the dentist last weekend for a cleaning (the whole family had appointments for cleanings and they ran out of time for the hubby and couldn't get his in) and it was super busy and I basically played it the entire time using my phone to look up the guide only when I needed to. The maps/gameplay itself is pretty familiar from previous games. I will say I'm not very far into it (just finished up world 1 which had 6 parts) but the puzzles and gameplay are very entertaining, imo. Definitely recommend. :D

RMDC -> You were wanting something multiplayer online...have you looked at Heroes of Ruin? I just played the demo yesterday (it's a short demo) and it looks pretty promising. Not quite tactics like FE (i.e. square moving like FF Tactics) but more top-down dungeon crawling and they it has a 4-player local play as well as online mode to give that almost MMO feel. You should check out the demo and see what you think. Told hubby I think I'm going to want it...not a big surprise there. LOL! Unfortunately, can't get the full version via the e-shop so I'm going to have to find it somewhere else.

After watching the BAFTAs the other night, it reminded me that my GOTY for 2013 was Tearaway, so I wanted to play that a bit again. I went and finally 100%-ed everything. I reeeaaally want to print out the papercraft items and make them, but I don't have a printer. :( For now I'll have to settle for the digital versions, but someday I will have my own Atoi!!

Mei - definitely gonna check it out. :nod My spouse and I actually just started playing Neverwinter. It's our first MMO since the days of the text-based MUDs. I'd like a similar experience for handheld, though, so Heroes sounds perfect.

TigerLily: A game that features papercraft? I gotta have it!
