Re: Pokemon - all gens!
As far as I know, the only thing missing is a pdf of the Bottom Left section, correct?
I meant to attempt earlier, but oddly enough, I've been using my free time towards time-sensitive stitching projects to the point that I haven't managed to sign on here at all since I put up this pattern.
Good news is that I seem to have gotten it to work, so here's the missing piece: I know the title isn't explanatory, but I wanted to try as little additional stuff as possible. Specifically, this has only the symbols, and each page is 63x91 stitches in order to get the page number under 50. I'll double check to make sure I can open it after this post, so if it doesn't work, reload because I may have removed it for not working.
EDIT: Good news - I got it to open from this post!

Not having the color overlay is going to make this really interesting.. I suppose taking it a page at a time will be the key to not total insanity.
Thank you so much! Extra motivated to finish Iron Man now!

Quick and stupid verification question - the thread count at the end of each pdf is for the complete piece, right, not just the contents of that pdf?

I wouldn't think so - it would be for each pdf. I'd make sure that the colours are the same on each side of the split too. You don't want to start and find out that the colours are different.Virdilak wrote:Quick and stupid verification question - the thread count at the end of each pdf is for the complete piece, right, not just the contents of that pdf?

No, the pdfs have only the thread count needed for the contents of that pdf. As for Servotron's point - I'd check before moving to the next section, but they appear to have the same color (although the symbols are sometimes different).Servotron wrote:I wouldn't think so - it would be for each pdf. However, I did put the thread count for the complete piece in my post on the first page. (Had some problems posting, so I'll try putting it in a quote + spoiler real quick, for ease of finding it)

Thank you so much.
Now I just have to figure out what count I'm doing this in, where I can order large enough cloth from, and where I can get the thread from cheapest. All of which are minor problems compared to getting the pattern done. Thank you so so much!

I ended up going with 32 count linen, mostly because it was the only type on the shelves that would require less than 4 pieces of cloth (specifically, I still needed a second) to do.Virdilak wrote:Thank you so much.

Still, good luck to everyone attempting it!

I put this image into PC Stitch to see if it could handle it, and it could! It did give me 442 colours in the pattern though, and considering there are only 454 colours in the basic DMC range, you would have to spend quite a bit.
