I love it too, but have yet to do a thing with it. I went to a painting class shortly after finishing and guess what we painted..you guessed it...Starry Night! So I have my painting and my project and neither are hung anywhere!! LOL Any ideas for the finished stitching? I'm not sure of the finished dimensions off hand...I'm really big into scrapbooking and incorporating stitching into it, but not with this piece..I have been thinking about some type of shadow box technique though.

Adding some new stuff!

Post by tinkerbarb »

Worked on lots of little projects while trying to get "The Scream" by Edvard Munch done. Scream was so time consuming that I had to take little breaks and work on fast easy projects so that I didn't get discouraged. I find that works well for me when working on very large pieces by getting that wonderful feeling of accomplishment, it motivates me not to give up on big pieces.
Yes you could say, "well if you didn't stop to work on other stuff you might get done faster"... well... not for me... too many projects, not enough time! I have two to four projects going all the time :>)

So..
This is actually black on white, but I was messing around with features on my camera..

The Scream looks awesome, though the colors looks like it may drive one mad!

Now that the big project is done, I'm stitching out stuff quick! I did this over the weekend for my son since summer break is almost over and he's heading back to school.
