I like that the piece holding the halo up looks like a similar colour to the background. It nearly looks like it's floating by itself in the second picture.

The support is actually clear. It is a strip of plastic cut from a 2 liter bottle.

Aw shucks, thanks! The idea of doing 3D cross stitch was something that I had rattling around in my head for a couple of decades before I finally took the plunge. As you can see, I'm having fun with it. Next up will be more Christmas, a couple of elves. After that, I'm going back to the Doctor. I'm half way done with a 12th Doctor and then I'm going to take a stab at a dalek. The eye stalk and arms have been my block, but I think I have it worked out now.

Done with my Christmas collection for this year. My latest addition is a couple of elves. I scaled them to my earlier Santa doll.

Thank you both. Have fun perusing my shop. I'm in the works on a 12th Doctor doll now and will soon start a dalek doll.
