Yeah, I know what you mean. I looked at LOTS of pictures of him and read descriptions trying to decide on black or brown. I toyed with the idea of giving him a recorder.

Yes, the whole thing is cross stitched. I work them as a bunch of flat pieces, then cut them out and hand sew them together.

I've been keeping quiet on this one, but now that he's finished, I'm ready to reveal him. Meet Zachy the Gyspy Vanner horse. I based him on a horse owned by a friend. She says he looks just like her horse.
