Re: Rhaben's Projects
Alexander Hamilton. His name (their names) is Alexander Hamilton.
I am such a fan of the musical. It just got me in my soft spots--musical theater (my go-to music) and history. I made two versions of him and designed four patterns, so that you can have your choice of outfit he is wearing. I based the historic one on descriptions I found of the man.

Re: Rhaben's Projects
"For the love of God, fill in her eyes!" my daughter said when she saw this. Honestly, I hadn't noticed it until then and laughed until I cried. This is part of the afghan I'm stitching for my Mom's Christmas present. It is going to have four portraits on it, all of Dad and Mom and a bunch of other stuff (there are 16 panels) This is my Mom when she was a baby. The photo was taken around 1924 or so.

I know! Half of what had me in tears was what she said.blackmageheart wrote:Could not have said it better myself! She's terrifying with no eyes! :Orhaben wrote:"For the love of God, fill in her eyes!"

Just finished this one over the weekend. The bravest man Harry Potter knew, Severus Snape. I made a new body shape for the long robes he wears and also made him slightly larger than the other dolls I make.

Re: Rhaben's Projects
I've been working on my mom's Christmas present a bunch lately. I just finished the center portion of it last night. This also was the worst of the afghan. They are portraits of Mom and Dad as children and then as adults. The rest of the squares that will surround the portraits will be of the various places they lived as a couple. Dad was in the US Air Force, so there were quite a few.
